The Spin Doctors Music Group is a unique company with a focus on new Country music artists that don’t have the benefit of a major label. Spin Doctors promotes this great new music to Country Radio, both Music Row and BDS Indicator as well as monitored reporting stations, along with carefully selected influential non-reporting stations throughout the USA. Secondary markets are critical for new artist development. In fact, approximately 55% of country listeners are from these secondary markets. That equates to around 85% of country music sold because of those secondary radio markets.
In addition to radio promotion services, we also offer artist management and development with “Next Generation Artist Management” headed by Kristin Johnson. Current clients include 16 year old Stephanie Grace, who was identified as a new “artist to watch”, and John Karl. Next Generation offers full management services and specializes in the development of country’s “next” generation of stars. |

We also are now featuring full service artist/tour and venue bookings, and a publicity and marketing department, also called “Next Generation Publicity and Marketing”. In the past year, we have worked with artists such as, Kellie Pickler, Tyler Farr, Andy Griggs, Steve Azar, Buddy Jewell, James Wesley, Benton Blount, Dave Gibson, Williams Riley, Blaine Larsen, BadHorse, Glen Templeton, Sarah Darling, Jeff Bates, and record labels that include: Broken Bow Records, Universal Republic, Cupit Music, Nine North, Turnpike Music, Golden Music, Black River Music Group, Treehouse Music, Savannah Music Group, BNA Records, UMG Nashville, Co5 Records, Sony Nashville, Ride Records, and more.
The Spin Doctors Music Group also can provide artist radio training. We teach the artist everything they need to know about today’s radio in a course called “Radio 101”. It’s an in-depth one-day course that takes the artist through the day-to-day world of what it is like to be a radio programmer in these interesting times. It also teaches them the in’s and out’s when visiting a radio station and performing for a radio executive or a group of listeners, how music is chosen and subsequently played on the air, and much more.
The Spin Doctors Music Group is headed by longtime radio veteran Al Brock, who has worked in multiple radio formats. Al brings to Spin Doctors his years of radio programming experience and lots of great relationships with country radio programmers, consultants, and industry executives, artists, and infuses a new business model to the Nashville Music Industry as well. WE KNOW RADIO!!
Our track record is excellent. We have had three songs in the Music Row Top 40, and several more in the Top 50, after just a few short weeks after being released.
In addition, we can create and help implement effective Social Media interaction, as well as marketing and promotional services for Music Radio. We can show you ways to use texting and social networking to showcase your artist to a large group of people who are frequent users of texting and the various social network sites, like Facebook and Twitter.
